Poetry of a Lifetime
Your Return
Your back, from my nightmares, from my dreams
I once loved you, guess it never ends, just like the streams
You've washed away all my tears you made
and you've replaced them with confusion and a dark shade
I gave you my roses, but you just plucked the petals away
I gave you my confidence, but you just had to betray
What am I to do now if your not here?
What am I to do without your cheer?
I gave you light, I gave you space, I gave you love
All you gave were frowns and shoves
Now I wait for miracles to happen
I wait in hope not to misshapen
