Poetry of a Lifetime
Gone Again
We met at the joining of the streams
At first I knew it surpassed all my dreams
As I strayed into it, I found myself before a true heart
But this did not last, for she was to depart
I remember the light she could bring into a dark room
And how wondering souls were filled with hope at the sight of her
Without no fears, no foes at sight and no doom
And believe me when I say there shall be no cur
She came and before I knew it she was gone
She was more beautiful than all the sunsets and dawns
With just a sweet kiss she has left
There are no more clefts
