Brothers

As we go by, through all the adventures we have been
I know we shall forever stick side by side
For you protected me since the first day we had seen
I know now, you are the one I would have died

We put our backs together, fighting the foes around us
Never did we leave the battlefield, unless we left together
We held true to each other, even though blood fell before us
We were only bound by our own freedom, never by a tether

Yet now lightning has spit the skies and the earths have been shaken
You were made to leave by an evil heart, I could not help you brother
For I did not see, I had not waken, then it was too late and I was forsaken
You had gone further than any and now in a crowd your just another
